Description

Veronicaceae (family name)
Forage for Pollinators: Produces Nectar in abundance for Honeybees, Bumblebees, Solitary bees and Butterflies. Pollinated by bees.
Flowering time: July, August, September.
Growing information: PERENNIAL, growing to 1 m (3ft 3in) by 0.3 m (1ft). Garden speedwell grows well in any well-drained garden soil in full sun or partial shade. It is native to much of Europe, S.W. Asia, Mongolia, Korea and N. China, and found in places such as Steppes, grassy mountain slopes, meadows at forest edges and birch forests below 1500 metres in northwest China. There are countless modern cultivars, but we offer the increasingly hard to find original species.
